HRDKAW WEIGHTLIFTING CLUB

HrdKAW Weightlifting is a NSW and AWF affiliated club.The club provides a fun and competitive training environment for anyone interested in the Olympic Weightlifting movements. We cater for non-competitive and competitive lifters from club level all the way up to international level. Beginners and all ages are welcome. HrdKAW Weightlifting Club is one of the fastest growing clubs in NSW.

Our passionate coaches are skilled in coaching athletes across all levels and have created an environment that is supportive of everyone regardless of how big or small their goals are. At HrdKAW Strength we have developed many State, National and International representatives, medallists and record holders.

Youth Scholarship Program

  • The Youth Scholarship Program is a FREE 4-month weightlifting program. In this program youth athletes will learn how to snatch and clean and jerk in addition to all of the accessory movements. Athletes will follow an individualised program to build strength and Olympic lifting foundations.

    To compliment their physical training, scholarship athletes will also complete our ‘Becoming Elite’ educational modules that will equip them with knowledge and tools to help them transition to elite athletes.

    We have one of the most successful Youth Weightlifting programs in the country, largely due to our innovative Youth Scholarship Program. Our program has had enormous success, with many of our Youth Scholarship athletes going on to win National medals, break NSW and Australian records, and be selected for Australian teams.

WORKSHOPS

  • Our workshops improve participants’ technical foundations and movement efficiency in weightlifting and for CrossFit.

  • Small groups of 6-12 participants

  • Improve weightlifting technique and perform weightlifting movements more efficiently

  • Enhance ability to lift heavier weights and reduce risk of injury

  • Ideal for preparing for CrossFit competitions

  • Weightlifting movements can include: snatch, clean and jerk, warm ups, progressions and accessories

  • Develop understanding of the technical components of the Olympic Weightlifting movements

  • Workshops may be run out of our facility or can be delivered at your preferred gym (Sydney)

  • Workshops can be fully tailored to your needs

  • Coached by AWF Level 3 Weightlifting Coach Josh Wu
